I’d like to read an anthropological analysis one day of why this cartoon image of a generic man resonated so wildly with millions of people in every corner of the world. It’s uncanny how it has triggered an almost primal sense of identification spanning every human culture.

The entire phenomenon of internet memes is understudied and deserves a book unto itself analyzing both the psychological and sociological resonance. I also like the meme by the way.
