For 30+ years, my dad has been running our family’s furniture factory in Passaic with my grandfather. Up at 4 AM every morning. Some nights, not home until midnight, because he was also running a restaurant and event space.
But he never missed a single one of my soccer games.
He always showed up. Always led with actions, not words.
I’ll never forget when he finally chased his dream and opened that restaurant. He was already doing everything, and still went for it. That moment changed how I look at risk, drive, and commitment.
He never pushed me to follow his path. Just said, “Go find what you love. Make your own name.” That freedom shaped everything.
People ask where I get my discipline and values. The answer is simple. It’s my dad.
