Hey folks -- we're making a big investment in improving our video UX. 

That said, would encourage folks to start posting videos in 9:16 aspect ratio (like TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts).

Would also encourage people to add captions -- using CapCut, Captions (app), Descript, Kapwing, etc.

Big fan of this but fwiw

Don't put the load on the user to even think about this (or punish them for it! - none of the other apps do that either 

Just render the other videos centered in the 9:16 view

deliberately gave examples that are doing great on their respective platforms

it doesn't/shouldn't matter - good is good

Sure but the 9:16 will get more engagement.
