okay chat, maple dulce de leche goes hard. just needed to thin it out to more of a syrup consistency.

I have now realized that the ideal term for this is “dulce de latte”

even though im not a latte person, I’d try this in a heartbeat. how sweet it gets? never had maple dulce de leche — is it just maple syrup added to it? so many questions here haha

as sweet as you want! you can add a little or a lot to the cup before pulling the espresso.

I find the dulce de leche quite thick so I actually heated it up in a saucier and gradually added water to bring it to more of a syrup consistency for drinks.

the maple condensed milk made by the same brand is actually much easier to use as a drink syrup. similar flavour, a bit more caramel though:

got it! will check if i can find it here. usually have black coffee with no sugar but this looks like a ‘i have to try’ kinda thing
