the whole thing is a bit ridiculous like most early Woody Allen: looney tunes and Charlie Chaplin physical comedy meets a critique of our futile attempts to perfect everyday life by automating anything difficult, inconvenient, time-consuming, or unpleasant.

if you’re familiar with Kubrick’s 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (1968), it’s also a funny parody of HAL 9000 and the same voice actor—Douglas Rain—played both parts.

yeah a lot of his older stuff is impossible to stream, luckily the discs aren’t too expensive though

I havent been able to find it streaming all year
