I haven't listened to the Thiel interview yet but one thing I did find striking is the truly bizarre colour grading. you can see the original on the left and my 2-second correction on the right.

you would be hard-pressed to grade this footage in a less flattering way, almost as if your explicit goal was to make the subjects look alien. blue casts are a non-starter for skin tones.

Saying "that's a long hesitation" to Peter Thiel, a guy with a known stutter, is so intellectually dishonest.

to me this is quite deliberate, as if you wanted to discredit or alienate the guest. as someone with a background in colour correction I would consider this decision very disrespectful lol.
