An institution (e.g. coinbase) that will serve as a guardian for your wallet's social recovery scheme.

I want a few security-minded organizations to each hold a key to my core multisig, to make the idea of social recovery a bit more secure.

slightly different—call it "semi custody". I want to secure a treasury with social recovery, probably in a 3/5 signer scheme. I'd keep two of the keys, I'd give two to trusted people, and then ideally store one with a secure institution, or possibly multiple institutions.

I think most solutions are “decent” for folks like us. How on earth I get it all to work with wife if I die is what i think about it a lot haha.

Makes sense with Shamir secret sharing you can do this/this is what I did.

Although it’s getting fancier nowadays, safe has some cool stuff they’re cooking.
