feels like the distribution advantage is at a local minimum, so if i were contemplating launching tomorrow and there were a good way to replicate incentives without a token (ie settling in usdc) i would probably do that

The distribution (read: attention) you get from it is a double-edged sword since it primarily comes from rat-brained CT traders who don't actually care about your product and will rotate their liquidity as soon as the next shiny object emerges causing disappointment for any of your users left holding the bag
