Have you guys noticed the “greying of open source”? It was all the old-heads could talk about at this conference. Open source needs a makeover for the next generation

What are the best open source mini apps? Looking to read some awesome code and explore the available developer tooling.

My coding philosophy: ruthlessly open-source. I report every bug I find and feature request I have — no exception. I encourage everyone to do this. The more we do it, the faster human knowledge grows.

Assuming you came out on top given the dry board, and limited flush/straight potential?

Roblox and Fortnite both have really powerful UGC tools, this is the path I'd go as well. That being said, I don't think you can use them to publish games outside of their respective universes

Wow, this tutorial incredibly easy to follow. Phaser seems to have a really intuitive developer experience: https://phaser.io/tutorials/making-your-first-phaser-3-game/part1

From my initial research it seems like the most popular/mature are Babylon.js for 3D games, and phaser for 2D games

Interestingly all of the top feature requests in Godot are related to typing, which immediately makes you think that a Rust-based game engine like Bevy would be preferred. But then you read articles from devs who use Bevy that are giving it up because the typing is too strong. Feels really hard to get this balance right. https://deadmoney.gg/news/articles/migrating-away-from-rust

Jay you don't want this smoke. I can take you down faster than your $DEGEN bags did. And I don't need compliance approval. 🫳 🎤

The Github contribution graph but it's Conway's Game of Life. I had to do it.
