Still true for Farcaster and Base

I’m not sure why tf this isn’t obvious to more people. Blockchain and cryptocurrency have hitherto provided minimal utility when they push the technology into users’ faces. Only when it is used for real-world utility and improvements to people’s lives will it actually make the world a better place.

Web2/Web3 developer and builder of grassroots decentralized culture and governance. Not a maximalist of any kind. Writing this as I go.

Blockchain is incredibly powerful technology. 

It can put an end to this middleman culture we’ve been putting up with from platforms like Uber, Thumbtack, Airbnb, Ticketmaster, etc.

It can revolutionize how we handle any transaction of any kind. I mean “transaction” very broadly here.

But we’ll only have (meaningful) mass adoption by billions of users when we put our heads down to use these tools to supercharge supply chain management, real estate transactions, civil disputes, and more.
