The world’s largest coral recently discovered in the Solomon Islands is 300 years old and literally LONGER THAN A BLUE WHALE!!! WHAT??!! Scientists at Nat Geo originally thought it was a shipwreck!! The 34 meter long coral can be seen from space🤯 More info below ⬇️

yes, 💯 and we can also help protect nature by giving natural wonders human names. This coral is three times bigger than the previous world record-holder, located in the National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa, which was known as “Big Momma,” which is a very endearing human name. I’d say we call this one Collosal Sol. Collosal Sol the collosal coral. Fun. Funny. Has that slant rhyme of collosal and sol and coral. Simple. Sol is chort for Solomon, like the Solmon Islands. Collosal Sol’s an enlightening name, cuz sol means sun in many languages and roman mythology. 🪸 ☀️ 🌊
