My treat today The reading of my poem "The Knackery of K" I captioned this manually And tried to think about how to do that Inspired by @kathonejo for our interactions in English and Spanish And my wife, who has dyslexia Words dissappear for her while reading Certain words are worse thant others Like "Salt" Something we will be experimenting with Soon...

Thanks MarK I will play with words Words will turn into sentences Sentences will turn into thoughts Thoughts will turn into videos Videos will save humanity WalknTalk is the end game But To build a sandcastle We must start With a grain of sand K So much fun to surprise someone with my square and this K poem and watch them invent new words My father invented "Nobberries" when confronted with Knobkerries Which he thought meant....... Gonads or Balls So he thought I meant "Let us put down our balls" Which, ironically, some think our balls are weapons not unlike Knobkerries would be curious how Sasha thinks about that : ) And thus a new word was born Nobberies... or Knobberies.... Who knows? It's less about the spelling And more about the experience... They will wake up

i completely agreed at one point i thought neoglogisms were the path to enlightenment but then i (was forced by reality) to modify and narrow the scope of my contention because visual thinkers are not like us it took so much more than a book for me to learn that lesson but if i were to have learned it from a book this book might be the one (giving a big toethumb up!)

Thanks for the recommendation. I have not read a physical book in a while. Maybe this will be my return to reading in hand. Something education dulled for me. Over the years of grinding us like knives. They need not be like us. To look upon my square. And tthinks. I will set the bar on the ground. I hope I fail. There is much to learn in failure.

yes! this book addresses part of the crisis in education i hated school for reasons related to those that plague object visualizers (like temple) the one-size-fits-all-putting-of round pegks with silent ks into square holes in the name of well rounded ness

That system failed my wife miserably I am trying to get her to write So we can see what she sees Or - does not see I want to make a poem And remove the words That are blind to her initially So everyone can experience that She made a short one about salt Her nemesis I will encourage her to share it on Zora She thinks it is terrible Because there is programming in her To think that I wonder who installed that program? I wonder if we can uninstall it? Overwrite it? So many tell me they are ashamed of "Getting the Square Wrong" They feel 'Dumb' They think it a test They approached it as a test It is only after we spend 30 minutes talking About all the ways everyone else experienced it They understand it was never meant to be a test I never expected someone to read that square The way my wife did And yet here we are That is the best story About that little square I could have ever asked for And I did not see it It took someone else To show me It was there The one who does not see Salt 🧂
