to riff on bright eyes this is the first pro day of my life how do i feel? how do u feel? how do we feel? on this first pro or non-pro day of our lives ? if u feel something new please do walk and talk about that feeling because soon it too shall melt into utility Joe Brainard might ask if u remember your first time on Instagram? Facebook? Snapchat? Tiktok Tinder? the first time you were liked or swiped? first principles thinking starts not in the neocortex but in the libidinal mesh of amygdala and hippocollegecampus with first principles thinking about how we feel often we think in reverse we think about the maze of utility we’ve established after those first feelings fade first encounters with magic become invisible tools of our trade but today l: the first pro day of our lives is NOT invisible. how do you feel? walk and talk and tell us (knowing how your thumbs and fingers feel is fine but i rly want to know how ur face and body and voice feel @walkntalk

@kaufman i would really love to hear your first emotional impression on the move to pro vs non-pro tiers your wonderful reporting and curating is infused with such a rich emotional substrate that comes to the surface in the timbre and tone of your voice and the depth of your eyes as you lament the fate of our planet but i would love for you to just take the mic and speak directly to this tier-ification of our community i don’t know whether it’s a good or a bad thing but i do know that the types of hierarchies that create structures that enable things like rampant environmental degradation and treating certain classes of people like mere externalities often start very small. i’m not saying it starts with a pro badge or a limited edition NFT or handing a bunch of bitcoin to your cypherpunk for free friends in 2009 but would love to hear your take on it because I feel like you spend so much of your time on the mature end of these systems of hierarchical destruction.

@dylsteck.eth i want to hear you walk and talk on this issue i loved your impassioned rooftop walk and talk about mini apps so heartfelt and moving i had never thought of them that way before truly transformed my thinking about mini apps i want to hear what you feel about the pro-tier on the first pro day!
