there was more experimentation from DAOs w/ frames last year than w/ mini apps this year (e.g.: @botto, @vocdoni, @nouns prop house, @orangedao app). is this due to DAOs falling off a bit? or due to a frustrating frames experience that discouraged them from mini apps? something else? would love opinions (+ intros!)

There is a much higher barrier to develop a mini app compared to a frame. Frames are much easier for devs because the client (warpcast) took care of the UI. While mini apps have more powerful features (which are awesome), the complexity is much higher and the effort involved is greater. The lower the barrier is to experimentation, the more experimentation will happen.

thanks, great feedback. i do miss the simplicity of buttons in the interface without having to click into a separate (although integrated) experience. i feel this whenever i use @ponder.
