Writers and editors don't typically make the default lists of who's considered to be "builders" so I'm really honored to be on this list. Especially when the nomination is coming from you!!

Expanding on this: initiatives that recognize "builders" can make a big difference for writers + editors by taking care in advance to make it clear that we're on the list of roles who can qualify as builders.

It lets writers/editors know our contributions are seen as valuable, rather than treated as an afterthought.
