#monochrome-monday Font developed for the House of the Future in 1956. The house is designed by Alison and Peter Smithson, but I am not able to read the lettering designer from the page below π

Love it! It almost looks more PoMo than Modernist, those are some edgy decisions on angles and breathing space between curves. Maybe a Space Age Las Vegas influence? I think I found the draughtsman's name, btw: Edward Wright. https://www.cca.qc.ca/en/articles/issues/2/what-the-future-looked-like/32734/1956-house-of-the-future?lb_url=%2Fen%2Flightbox%2Fmediacopy%2Fsummary%3Fmediacopy_url%3D%252Fapi%252Fmediacopy%252F13023

Thanks for digging that out! My first impression of the font was that itβs too uneven and arbitrary, but of course itβs not meant for paragraph text but rather Las Vegas type signage. I can totally see it advertising the house on a giant billboard on a highway.
