Reuters has confirmed that the U.S. military is now arresting U.S. citizens. The marines are no longer a branch of the military deserving respect. They are now just another law enforcement agency who deserve our derision. When you violate your oath, you lose my respect.

Wait, even with all the chaos in Lebanon, the army does not arrest a citizen unless they are armed or have used a gun in a public place. What is happening in the USA? I have been seeing a lot of chaotic activity in LA on social media.

There are people protesting all of the immigrants being snatched off the streets. Some of the protestors have been trouble makers (as with all protests). Trump has used a handful of troublemakers at a protest or 1000s of people to justify calling in the military. And they are now doing the same thing redcoats did 250 years ago when we fought the revolutionary war. This is literally one of the things that caused us to seek to independence from England.

Nowhere good. Our country is more divided than ever. No one trusts our elections aren’t rigged. Both sides basically hate each other and accuse each other of horrible things. The federal government keeps spending way more than it takes in, and telling states how to govern themselves as well. Idk, I think eventually America will end up being like 3-4 independent nations. It would make more sense to me, at this point. We are such a large and geographically diverse country that the people of California are very different than the people in Georgia.

I remember a third party in the election and saw a video explaining how they would not achieve it now, but maybe in about two decades. I had this opinion well before the election, where the two choices were so bad for the country and whole world. Here we are watching geopolitcal tension rising every hour. Economy is trash. Idk man hopefully you and your family stay good and safe through this
