Random thought: Even if one day we learn how to upload our brains to “the cloud” - doing so wouldn’t actually extend our lives. Because an uploaded version of your brain will never be “you.” You can’t transfer your consciousness to it. So, it would only exist as another version of you.

It still wouldn’t be you though. It would be a different version of you. You would still die and have no clue what the other version of you was doing.
