Clip - Product Feedback ? -------------------- Drop (a) product feedback, (b) feature ideas, or (c) Reddit frustrations in the comments. About Clip: ELI5: Like Reddit, but people earn from posting and commenting Our goal is to find PMF i.e answer these 3 questions: 1. Crypto-Native: Is /c/crypto fun enough for daily use (readers + traders)? 2. Normie-Friendly: Can we grow channels beyond crypto? 3. Scalable Playbook: Can we repeatedly launch high-quality, positive-sum channels? After PMF: Go after Reddit with the first major Web3 “vampire attack.” Risks: 1. Smart contracts are currently unaudited. Ape responsibly. 2. We’re in Beta and shipping fast: expect bugs.

(a) Product Feedback: The core idea of earning through meaningful participation is strong, especially for crypto-native communities. The UI/UX feels lightweight, but onboarding for non-crypto users could use some smoothing out (wallet setup, gas understanding, etc). (b) Feature Ideas: Gamified Reputation System: Beyond just tokens — badges or XP for consistent, quality engagement. Curated Threads: Let mods or community highlight “golden” threads weekly. Gasless Interactions: Consider meta-transactions or Layer 2 for comments/votes. (c) Reddit Frustration (why Clip could win): Reddit has become too centralized and ad-focused. Clip has a shot if it can keep incentives aligned with users and creators. Just don’t lose the soul to bots and bad actors like Reddit did. Overall: Clip feels like a promising bet on social-fi. If you can nail both the crypto-native AND normie value prop, it could seriously dent Reddit’s dominance — especially if the vampire attack is timed right.
