god damn — had a coffee at my usual spot, and suddenly felt something weird in my mouth. spit it out…turns out it was a decent-sized dead fly inside my fucking flat white.

Iam defending the fly Maybe your warm coffee was what led to the fly’s death. From which window should one look at it? Is the fly, who lost its life, the real victim or is it you, who now feels disgust in your mouth? Nietzsche says morality has an aesthetic concern: when you kill a butterfly, you’re a murderer, but when you kill a spider, you’re a hero. Well… I guess I’m getting sleepy now.
