I know what you mean- it's this balance between being grateful for alone time/ time away but then feeling like you return to double the work

To be fair, the house is not in a normal state because my husband is painting the inside and outside. But still, we have various babysitters and my parents here yesterday and it’s like none of the grown-ups thought to vacuum or sweep. 🫤
