Fun fact: It was Polish working class that brought Polish communism to an end (& later in USSR). Ironically, the very factory workers who were often portrayed as communism's greatest beneficiaries were the ones who protested against it so strongly that they ultimately dismantled the system.

Plus they did it via primarily peaceful protests, Gandhi-style. If you're into history, you can learn more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solidarity_(Polish_trade_union)

Someone was a maestro at history class 😅 But for some reason though,What do you think it was about their experience that made them push back against a system that was supposed to be for them though?

In practice communism wasn't catering to their needs. Everyone was dirt poor, bookshelves were empty and when you criticized government, you went to jail

Urgh that’s a tad rough,no wonder they pushed back. But then, how do you think things might’ve played out if the system had actually delivered on its promises? Because surely things might have taken a turn if these promises were delivered tomeously
