Restraining capitalism doesn't mean going to socialism, it's a spectrum :)

Well because he starts by saying he'd be the last person to advocate for socialism but then does exactly that by implying that unrestrained capitalism is putting young people into debt and disillusioning them towards the capitalist system. It's pretty funny actually.
