This is for a boxing robe for a mini word contest happening between me and Zoo IRL in LA in August. I’m serious about getting a boxing robe, but to be clear this is a very unserious event. A boxing robe, entrance music, and a livestream to our very few but loyal mini word fans is what I’m thinking so far.

Sounds fun! I mostly construct fairly “serious” garments (premium materials with couture finishes) which I assume is not what you’re looking for - at least at the moment? But if you think I can help with something, style direction, construction, or fabric sourcing, def let me know!

Maria, if you’re looking for something none serious my recommendation is (1) buy a cheap robe, take it apart or buy patterns for a robe (2) buy the fabric you want + design inspo (3) go to LA fabric district and look for atelier willing to put it all together for you (4) go on instagram and look up early designers DM them (5) if cost and time is a concern a barebone robe + patches sewn, or embroidery, is not a terrible option Hopefully this helps.
