Chasing users fleeing another platform is not a long-term valuable strategy. Effort is better spent trying to figure out the compelling reason for people to join the network independently. If you have that, then you can use sudden external entropy to help grow. But sign ups for the sake of sign ups don’t matter.

>figure out the compelling reason for people to join arguably, it's mostly financial for a majority, could be belonging for a minority, but should be insurgency for a plurality (in the @barmstrong sense). do you find the scale of adoption demands the earlier features & enriches earlier preference, or has something vocational been missing all along? is the intended path that Discover & Actions "fill the internal entropy" as is? how would you direct users who feel dissatisfied with the performative options at hand?
