I love how Elon approached building Optimus from first principles, with humans as a model. He wanted it to be like the average human bc it would be working in a world designed for humans. 

If it’s in your kitchen cooking meals, it makes sense to be of average human height so it can use counters and what not. (1/2)

But thought experiment: would he feel differently if he weren’t 6 feet tall? 

I’m only 5’3”, a 5’8” robot isn’t entirely unthreatening to me, with or without an elfish look.
