I like spring too. but fall is a better buffer between the extremes from my POV in slightly temperate climate.

100%, should be some sort of dry season. otoh, this can differ in certain locations. personally, I don't mind rain, with fall it's more twilight/stillness in contrast to the typical rain. there's no season w/o its pluses & minuses.

My big gripe with spring is just the rain
