Around the same time we shut down @ponder , my pregnant wife got laid off from her PM job at Indeed. Brutal timing. We had no health insurance, baby due in 2 months, looking at a crippled job market. It’s part of why I’ve been quiet on Farcaster. So we decided to build a career intelligence platform to put Indeed out

Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.

On the one hand, it is batshit insane to trust Sam Altman with all of my health, financial, personal, work, psychological data. On the other hand, having one megaclanker that solves EVERYTHING just feels so, so useful.
