At its best, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ is ‘Misery’ for dumb people. At its worst, it’s misery for smart people. Jenna Ortega is serviceable as a Gen Z Annie Wilkes, but self-serious star and co-writer Abel T. Weeknd too often invites unintentional laughs. Barry Keoghan? He just deserves better.
