50 years ago today, 'JAWS' sank its teeth into cinema. The sequel? Not so much. Spielberg pitched a prequel that dove headfirst into the blood-soaked horror of Quint’s USS Indianapolis story, but Universal decided to play it safe. We almost got 'Saving Private Ryan' with sharks. Instead, we got a soulless rehash.
