Four fantastic things about Fantastic Four.

World-building:
The retro-future world of F4 is a breath of fresh air compared to the ubiquitous blah of the core MCU — similar to Guardians of the Galaxy before it too became passé. Discovery is fun. Give us new worlds to explore!

Style:
This movie has flair — or, as The Thing might say, “a little zip.” It’s bouncy, colorful, and vibrant across aesthetics and edit. It has a distinct voice, and what you see on screen is never boring.

Fun:
The first two F4 movies were light and comic-booky. The 2015 reboot was grim and self-serious. This one strikes a balance — it’s totally a comic book, but one with stakes.

Characters:
The casting is on point, and the script gives everyone a chance to shine. Even Galactus! Who, importantly, is NOT an intangible cosmic cloud monster in this outing. The F4 family dynamic feels real, and the relationships feel lifelong.
