👾#Crypto The primary users of Ethereum’s new EIP-7702 mechanism appear to be coin theft gangs rather than phishing groups. EIP-7702, which enables programmable transaction authorizations, is being exploited to automatically drain wallets compromised by leaked private keys or seed phrases. Alarmingly, more than 97% of delegations under EIP-7702 currently direct funds to known coin theft contracts.
