🟠#BTC Ava Labs founder Emin Gün Sirer warned that Satoshi's 1 million bitcoins could face risks from quantum computing. These coins use the outdated Pay-To-Public-Key (P2PK) format, which exposes the public key, potentially giving attackers time to exploit it. As the threat of quantum computing grows, Sirer suggested that the Bitcoin community might consider freezing Satoshi's coins or, more broadly, setting a sunset date to freeze all coins held in P2PK UTXOs.
