You want radii to be nested. Because the outer corner is bigger, it needs to have a larger radius. There is actually a math formula behind this. No doubt Apple knows this, it wasnt an accident but a deliberate choice https://cloudfour.com/thinks/the-math-behind-nesting-rounded-corners/
