I mean Tesla reverting to the trend it had pre-election; agree that recession era is here

If you mean reversion of risk assets, I think that it's showing that the market is risk off.
Bad news is punished severely. 

If you mean reversion of Tesla stocks, there could be a bounce on the short term (didn't analyse it), but wouldn't bet on new ATHs for now. 

We are (imo) in a phase before a recession where risk assets are starting to top.
