Claim: Organisations are effective because they institutionalise ways to accumulate assets, coordinate people, and allocate capital. Is this correct? What would you change here?

I'd say "effective", create a subclause, or spell out assumptions/playground. For example, would you classify the catholic church as effective? Maybe yes, effective is just ego-centered and not effective for the ecosystem.
