"Maximal Extractable Value (MEV)" is a hegemonic term. It uses the language of entrenched interests to normalize systematic theft. "Transaction Ordering Attack (TOA)" is a liberating term. It uses the language of victims / normal users to identify and condemn systematic theft.

It’s a good article but the section on Emcrypted Mempools is lacking. Projects like @shutter can prevent malicious MEV and centralization.

A friend in the travel industry showed me an email from a sales prospect who decline a meeting invite by saying “Happy to meet @EOL”. It took me a while to realize @EOL meant “End Of Life”. How shitty and passive aggressive. I much prefer crypto culture.
