“Starting from acoustic cello recordings, the material is gradually frayed, stratified, and deconstructed, transforming its original form and structure entirely. The result lies somewhere between a soundtrack and a fragmented ambient composition, shaped through the use of samplers, a modular system, and magnetic reel-to-reel recorders. While the essence of the original sound remains, its form is completely altered, the initial recordings no longer exist in the material performed live, rendering them irremediably absent.”
