People in Spain really be pointing fingers at muslims for being "the ill of Spain" When we going to start pointing fingers at the wealthy Europeans who have bought all of the nice houses on "La Costa del Sol"? When we going to start pointing fingers at the landlords who are selling to foreigners instead of locals because they can get more money? Spain is racist and it only seems to be getting worse

It's called political hypocrisy and right-wing populism, Spain isn't racist. We're a country that welcomes immigrants because we've been immigrants too...

And yes, the populism is strong right now... Especially the right-wing populism But microracism has been a sign of identity for Andalucian people since I can remember We DO NOT integrate foreigners into our job market, we create (or they create) one for themselves How many black people are working normal jobs? They're doing "black people jobs" How many chinese are working normal jobs? They're doing their own "chinese jobs" Spain is quite segregated.

Microaggressions, microsexism... itā€™s deep in peopleā€™s DNA (so I kinda agree that weā€™re all a bit racist), but itā€™s a cultural thing thatā€™s super hard to shake ā€˜cause itā€™s been there for centuries. About immigrant ghettos, since Spain isnā€™t a colonial power like others, those folks didnā€™t have to come here, so Spain isnā€™t used to diversity or finds it harder to accept, unlike France and its African colonies or the UK, for example. Still, the Latino community is pretty integrated in my opinion, though thereā€™s always room to improve. Sharing the same language definitely helps. Oh, and I forgot to say a lot of people from Equatorial Guinea have been in Spain for years and integrated well since they speak Spanish there. Alright, Iā€™ll stop rambling lol, happy Sunday, friend!
