Shout out to my 10th grade English teacher for having us read Faulkner’s “A Rose for Emily,” explaining necrophilia to a classroom of horrified 16 year olds, then playing the My Chemical Romance song To The End which was inspired by the story. Oh, and this was Catholic school.
