While talking on the phone yesterday I picked up a pen & started scribbling. It unlocked a deep rooted memory within me. I did this in school during lectures. I have restless hands and it was an old habit of mine to keep my hands busy. I would do thoughtless scribbles until they made an image. I think I should revisit this practice. Also I'm thinking of trying out some mixed media on this to see where it takes me.

yes yes yes, to all you've mentioned here. I used to doodle through high school and university, it's the only way I could actually take in some of the information! would love to see your mixed media experiments too
