Sharing a childhood memory in a poem for #cosmicmission3. We used to have Sunday family walks, and in one park, there were cars made from tree trunks. I loved them and wrote this tritriplicata poem about them: Remember the automobiles made of felled trees? Those are no longer there, what remains are weekend wanderers.

thank you! such a cute scene to imagine you as a child playing on the wooden cars in the park. Any ideas what kind of trees they might have been? What is the tritriplicata form?

The tritiplicata is a form I created a few years ago. A bit of a reaction to discussions about what a true haiku is and what not. I didn't like that, so i created my own syllabic form. A tritriplicata is - a snapshot - 27 syllables - 5 lines: 3, 6, 9, 6 and 3 syllables - a twist/turn/volta in it is appreciated - these are to be considered guidelines not law set in stone.

Not yet, but I am going to, today. It's about time. Have used it in an earlier prompt, by the way.
