I'll probably get canceled for saying so, but... I liked the old bracky UI better. The one we used for NFL was much smoother and easier to keep track of. Sorry, not sorry.

Same tbh The agentic in-feed UX is cool and I can see how it is important to the roadmap of the product, but removing the frame / web UI has led to a lot of headaches including unfair dynamics and lack of functionality + user growth I know they’re going to add the standard UI back in at some point but essentially beta testing a brand new format while bricking the old format for the biggest bracket event of the year is a pretty significant misstep imo

Good question. I’m just gonna stick to the Bracket Game context cause that’s what’s front of mind and I haven’t thought about generalized rules: - Bracket game you want to be able to see all of your holdings in one place, share price of each holding, your unrealized gain/loss on each holding — the agent does not reliably return this data when prompted to, in fact it doesn’t seem to have the capability currently to share position gains/losses. The UI did that fine - similarly, you want to be able to see all market buying options (teams in Bracket game) so you can compare them when deciding to make trades. The agent doesn’t do this, it will tell you a couple teams at a time 1/x

- Bracket game used in-app wallets for previous tournaments, a lot of us received $bracky for the NFL playoff bracket. We currently can’t access those wallets and funds since the frame/app is essentially bricked. People who already withdrew their winnings from the NFL bracket can use them with the agent, anyone who didn’t withdraw is SOL for now, punished for loyally leaving funds in the app - previous Bracket games were easy to share to try to recruit more players, whether on Farcaster or not. The agentic version is basically only shareable on FC. I was looking forward to inviting a lot of non-crypto friends to this NCAA Bracket game and hope some would then join Farcaster. I think the entry as a FC feed agentic UX is much more difficult to explain and convince non-FC people of, even if all else was equal. And even if the agent was available on Twitter, the same idea applies. Maybe this friction goes away as agentic UI becomes more popular, idk 2/x

- agent hallucinations/mistakes are annoying and sometimes hard to rectify. Bracky agent has bought the wrong shares multiple times for me and that means I have to send more messages to fix, pay the spread + fees, etc - the agent just stops responding some times Having written these out, I’m noticing much of the frustration has to do with features that were present in the app UI which are no longer available or much less conveniently “formatted” in the agentic UI I don’t mean to be overly critical, it’s the Bracket teams’ product and they gave a lot of us an airdrop to use for this tournament. It’s their product and I don’t know the roadmap, so I’m sure they have their reasons for the way they’ve executed. The agent has also clearly improved over the last 3-4 days so that’s been nice to see. Just think we, and they, lost a lot of opportunity by not having the app UI still available alongside the agent 3/3

@tldr
regarding user friction on twitter – If you look at how bankr works on twitter (trade in feed without having to leave) – we're built like that It's actually gonna be pretty easy to tell a normal friend to "open twitter and @ bracky + start betting with an AI agent" after, they'll WANT to download fc for bracket
