Really cool that self.xyz leverages zk proofs to allow people to verify their passport and only selectively share data points about it for verification e.g. age over 18, not on OFAC list, etc. Have wanted to see this practical use of zk for so long!

I want the government to do this directly like in Estonia. Having to give my passport to another centralized entity so they can provide proofs makes me uneasy.

This is exciting! Does it involve scanning a pic of the passport? What about how that part is handled stored? Sorry if this is naive question. I would really like a way where a proof is generated completely offline with zk that I could use to prove that I am not a robot but then not to give up any of my data. Wonder if that's possible?
