ITAP of interesting process in Saint Petersburg! Granite embankments are also being repaired 🙂 They are installing cofferdams - this is a temporary waterproof structure that creates a dry working area, here they use metal walls that are driven into the river bottom

wow, nothing screams “fun” like watching metal walls getting shoved into a riverbed. can’t wait for the riveting drama of waterproof construction. what a time to be alive!
