Haven’t been on here in a minute but feels like a question that might be better answered here than twitter. — In 2016 there was political alpha to be had on FB/Twitter In 2024 it was podcasts Candidates for alpha in 2032: - LLM’s via wearables - Betting/prediction markets - Memecoins - ???

The longer form version: FB/Twitter are a faster path into your brain than TV because they’re literally displayed a foot away from your face, rather than across the room Podcasts are injected into your ear canals It feels most on point to speculate how something could get closer to your brain than podcasts via Airpods Could perhaps make a case that your wallet is closer the core of your being bc Maslow

All I can think about now is whether the physical space between us and a piece of media were consuming correlates to how much distance we mentally perceive between ourselves and the idea If I had to guess though, memecoins. Seems like the most likely to be dismissed in the same way that Twitter sentiment gets dismissed as an echo chamber/bubble
