I'm not too sure how I feel about these icons from the new iOS 26 (first image)

The icons in the first image seem a bit more distracting as the background adds noise with the transparency and blur

The second image, for me, is more obvious and straight to the point

What do you think? Do you think this liquid design will grow on you over time?

I can honestly say from experience and winning 13 design awards for accessibility that what they did is horrible.

I had a11y in mind the whole time when I watched this. It's just not right at all.

It might look innovating.. but it's not even cool I think

I haven't installed it yet. I usually avoid doing so, as I need an iPhone with the current iOS version for work as dev

Both look like a minimal beta design for something out of 2007 without including the nostalgic 3d colorful icons.😬
