I feel for kids these days because they don't get to experience game breakthroughs like this

we went from sidescrollers to Mario 64 in the span of a few years, nowadays they just get the same game repackaged over and over with new paid content

I didn’t get to play video games then cuz parents hated games, so i can only imagine

Maybe a time like that may come again, with VR? Unlikely i guess

yeah I mean it's sorta been the dream for a while I think...we all thought VR games would be huge

but I guess HD TVs + next gen consoles already immersive enough? not sure why it hasn't caught on
