Do you really need supplements to get strong? ( A thread 🧵) Most beginners rush to buy whey protein, creatine, or mass gainer. But miss the basics: training, food, and recovery. If you’re new to training, your biggest gains come from: 👉🏾 Consistent training. 💪🏾 👉🏾 Eating enough whole foods. 🍳 🍗 👉🏾 Sleeping 7-9 hours. 😴 👉🏾 Practicing good form. 🏋🏾♂️ Supplements cant replace these… Supplements become useful when: 👉🏾 You’re training hard 4-6x/week. 👉🏾 Your nutrition is dialed in. 👉🏾 You’ve hit a plateau. 👉🏾 You’re chasing performance, not just gains. 1/4

To be fair those first three you mentioned are pretty good. Mass gainer can be good for someone who doesn’t know how to eat big. Protein can be helpful to get your daily numbers. creatine is a nice to have. Agree tho overall. Master the basics first always (it only takes like 10+ years)

It’s a really crazy habit, i can agree with the 10+ years cause damnn it’s hardddd. Even the back squats takes years to master a perfect form.
