Not surprised some Nigerians like Trump. He’s conservative which aligns with Nigerian cultural values. Many Nigerians oppose Western social norms, so they lean toward American conservatives. He’s rich and entrepreneurial two traits widely respected in Nigerian culture. They like his alpha energy, nationalist “America First” stance, and religious alignment with conservative Christianity. It’s less about policy, more about perception. I’m American but I have one Nigerian parent and that side of the family loves trump. I like trump as a non politician but definitely not as president.
